The event was to celebrate the New Year of small business giving back to community through an artful celebration Art Party. I was happy to share with the children a few art projects while Pinkyz Place was gracious to supply the snacks & beverages!

The Art of Marbling Paper, pARTY pOPPER'S AND POP SICKLE kAZOO'S!
Artist/Art Educator Darlene sharing the Art of Marbling Paper, before Party Participants watched a video of the history of Marbling Paper dating back to the 15th Century originated in Turkey, spreading west to countries throughout Europe and east to China, India and Persia.
 Marbling by using shaving cream & food coloring. First step placing droplets of food coloring. |  Next step was using a skewer stick, held upright, to create your unique design by swirling the colors together through out the shaving cream. |
 Step #3 placing your card stock paper on top of design pressing down, lifting out and put on flat surface & using a ruler to scrap away shaving cream to reveal marble design! |  Final step- hang your paper on a clothes line to allow a drying time of about 10/15 minutes and Voila! So many beautiful vibrant unique designs in everyone's Marbling Prints. |
 Kids had fun with collage using colorful paper, stamps & markers to give creative flair to their Pom Pom Cup Party Poppers!  Kids had some whimsical sound fun creating Popsicle Kazoo's from using a paper in between two Popsicle's, rubber banding together and decorating. After let the silly sounds kazoo forth with laughter!!! |  After creating their Pom Pom Cup Popper, they had their try at feeding the Happy Emoji with Pom Pom's!  Tattoo's of course as an added fun adoring treat before we had snack treats and drinks from Pinkyz Place! |
Even Latoya, owner of Pinkyz Place joined in learning how to Marble Paper by her daughter first learning the art and teaching her Mom! That is what we at the Traveling Art Shack are all about! Teaching Students to inspire others what they artfully learn, empowering their self esteem and collaboration by passing on to others!
